Job summary
Adsyst Automation Ltd is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to survey, install, and commission site-based control systems and equipment. The role includes some PLC programming training and requires travel to client sites, sometimes with another engineer, or solo.
Expect 08:30-17:15 Mon-Thu and 08:30-16:00 Fri, with home-time exceptions. The ideal candidate will have electrical qualifications and experience in service, installation or maintenance, with additional design skills
Qualifications
- Electrical qualifications required (C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC/HNC/HND).
- Previous experience in service & support, electrical installation or maintenance.
- Electrical design experience (EPlan/AutoCAD) advantageous.
- Control panel design, manufacture or electrical installation skills.
- Experience with equipment installation and commissioning such as PLCs.
Responsibilities
- Survey, install, commission and support site-based control systems and equipment.
- Work autonomously or in small teams across sites.
- Travel to sites; occasional time away from home; flexible hours.
