Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer in Leicester with heavy plant experience. The role involves installing and commissioning machinery on customer sites, with 80% travel. Excellent operational exposure and a clear path to long-term work are on offer.

You’ll manage subcontractors, perform RAMS, handle testing, and contribute to safe on-site execution while supporting large-scale engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Electrical Installation for heavy/plant machinery.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or equivalent.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Confident delivering RAMS and toolbox talks.
• Banksman & Slinger trained.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• CSCS Card.
• IPAF.
• Willing to travel away 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Installation of heavy plant machinery on customer sites.

• Control system integration.
• Testing and pre-commissioning.
• Fault finding and upgrades on electrical faults.
• Complete accurate testing inspection certificates.

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join a market leading, heavy plant company based in Leicester. Essential:
