Job summary

A leading electrical safety services provider is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join their team in Reading. The role involves conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and ensuring safety compliance in commercial environments. Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in electrical inspection, hold relevant qualifications, and demonstrate strong analytical skills. This full-time position offers a competitive basic salary of £46,519.65, with potential earnings between £55k and £65k OTE.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
• Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
• Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.
• Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations.
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

Guardian Electrical Compliance are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
• Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.
• Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.
• Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.

Additional Job Details

• Full-Time Position : Available immediately.
• Hours : Contracted 45 hours per week (Overtime Guaranteed).
• Salary Bracket : £46,519.65 basic salary (£55k to £65k OTE)
