Job summary

UK Safety Management is seeking an Electrical Inspector to perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites in Glasgow, ensuring all electrical systems meet safety regulations and BS 7671. The role involves identifying non-compliance, recording findings, and delivering actionable recommendations to clients.

You will stay current with IET Wiring Regulations and industry best practices, communicating clearly with clients and adhering to safety

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
  • IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
  • Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues.
  • Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.

ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR

Location: GLASGOW

Salary & Benefits: £47,000 - £52,000/ Pension / Company Vehicle + Fuel Card / Testing Equipment / Time and 1/2 for unsociable hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues.
  • Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
