A leading manufacturer in the UK is seeking an Electrical / Automation Improvement Engineer to drive projects that reduce downtime and enhance throughput across manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical equipment and controls, a proactive approach, and a strong willingness to improve the plant's reliability and effectiveness. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 plus additional benefits.

Is a leading manufacturer with a broad portfolio of products supplying the entire UK market. The industry can be described as heavy manufacturing but any manufacturing background will be considered as long as you are an Electrical / Automation Maintenance Engineer.
Based on days the successful individual will be responsible for driving projects and improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput across all the UK manufacturing sites by implementing 100 year fixes to correct troublesome equipment. These will be driven through root cause analysis and subsequent predictive monitoring techniques to prevent recurrence where necessary. Small capital projects may be required and a positive attitude and a proactive approach.
You will be an Electrical / Automation Engineer who has experience of running multiple improvement projects at any one time in a manufacturing environment. Your experience will specifically cover electrical equipement with a real emphasis on Controls / Automation kit and monitoring techniques to understand, correct and prevent future issues.
