Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of electrical and/or gas, oil and solid fuel management in the Housing Sector.
• Up-to-date knowledge of electrical, gas, oil and solid fuel safety legislation.
• Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Safety and Compliance Specialist on safety matters.
• Ensure remedial activities are identified, recorded, and closed.
• Act as a subject matter expert in building safety compliance.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical safety legislation

Experience in gas, oil and solid fuel management

Excellent communication skills

Risk assessing

Education

Level 3 award in the requirements of electrical installations BS 7671:2008

City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent test and inspection

City and Guilds certificate in gas service and/or NVQ Level 3
