Electrical Estimator (Building Services / M&E) - Fully Remote

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE). Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time. Location: Fully Remote (UK-based).

About Us

We are a leading Building Services M&E contractor delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical projects across the commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare sectors. Due to continued growth and exciting new project wins, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our estimating team on a fully remote basis.

The Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical installations within building services projects. You will work closely with our pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure competitive and technically sound bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and cost plans for M&E projects
• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Value engineer projects to provide competitive solutions
• Attend virtual meetings to discuss tender progress and project handovers
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify scope and ensure accurate submissions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and market rates

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services / M&E industry
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, drawings, and technical specifications
• Proficient in estimating software (such as Estimation, Trimble, Amtech, or Excel-based take-offs)
• Excellent attention to detail, commercial awareness, and analytical ability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage workload and deadlines while working remotely
• Must be UK-based and eligible to work full-time in the UK
