We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator with proven experience in the Water industry to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a strong background in compiling and submitting tenders for electrical installations within water treatment and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for water industry projects, including clean and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure.
• Lead the tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and scope documents to produce detailed cost breakdowns.
• Work closely with project managers and design teams to ensure alignment between estimates and project delivery.
• Maintain and update estimating tools, databases, and cost libraries.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Water industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems used in water treatment and distribution.
• Demonstrable experience in preparing and submitting tenders.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Desirable

• Experience with AMP frameworks and working with major water utilities.
