About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our clients team on a permanent basis at Gatwick Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a long-term, high-profile infrastructure environment, delivering vital electrical and mechanical projects within one of the UK’s busiest airports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate electrical (and some mechanical) estimates for airport-related projects.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Identify risk and value opportunities within bids.
  • Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations as required.
About You
  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the electrical engineering sector (mechanical knowledge desirable).
  • Previous experience working in an airport environment is essential.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, secure-site environment.
