Qualifications

  • Must be trained and qualified in IPAF and MEWP, but can receive training.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.
  • Ability to work at height is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to reactive repairs within specified SLA's and KPI's.
  • Log all job details using handheld device applications.
  • Perform fault analysis and repair independently.
  • Communicate with clients and colleagues for technical support.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and according to regulations.

Job description
Job role: Electrical Engineers

Location: Various commercial and retail sites across Hemel Hempstead – Watford – Uxbridge – St Albans other areas when required

Salary: £40k pa – based on 40hr week

The Role

You will be responsible for covering reactive call outs on electrical basis for clients based in hospitality and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding and attending reactive repairs within SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Logging all details of the job on hand held device applications for further action
  • Work independently performing fault analysis and repair
  • Communication with clients and colleagues providing technical support where required
  • Supporting team and making sure all works are carried out safely and according to regulations
  • Proactive approach to Health and Safety at all times
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ level 3 or higher
  • 18th Edition is essential
  • Testing & Installing experience
  • Ability to work at height
  • Ideally be IPAF and MEWP trained and qualified, however not essential as training can be provided
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Willing to work some weekends and overtime as required

Working hours 40hrs per week + travel time. Out of hours availability required based on agreed duty engineer rota with a minimum requirement to be on call once per calendar month.
