Salary:
£54,793+ dependent on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Requirements gathering and solution design
- Solution development, unit testing, code review, peer testing, performance testing
- Writing and assembling process, technical and user documentation, release notes etc
- Co-ordinating and performing release activities
- Ensuring adherence to development lifecycle, coding and quality standards
- Auditing Electrical Project Data to ensure the integrity of Logical and Physical System-based Data, Loom Data, and correct extraction of Customer Data from the Master Engineering Database
- Keeping abreast of innovations in Electrical Capability and new regulations as Electrical IT Capability Lead
- Collaborating with Business Heads, Electrical Subject Matter Experts, Customer Air Forces, Partner Companies, and IT Suppliers to enhance Electrical Capability
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Electrical engineering knowledge in design, planning, manufacturing, testing, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers, manage stakeholders effectively, and demonstrate technical fluency
Desirable:
- Experience with BAE Systems WDMS application
- Experience with Siemens Capital Suite application
- Advanced Oracle SQL and SQL/Plus skills

The Engineering Systems Competency Centre (ESCC) - Electrical Development:
Responsible for the design, integration, and support of electrical engineering software tools supporting aircraft platforms and electrical data management used by circa 1000 users across several countries. The role involves working closely with clients to develop solutions that meet their operational needs.
