The successful candidate will be responsible for covering all engineering requirements for multiple factories/facilities. Reporting to our Senior Engineering Manager, the role is accountable for maintaining the integrity, reliability and safety of Weetabix’s electrical equipment. This includes equipment strategy, management of day‑to‑day maintenance and ensuring compliance.
Guide the development and execution of electrical and controls obsolescence plans.
Provide a single point of leadership for all Weetabix electrical standards across the site.
Ensure the controls team maintains and develops the necessary skills to support and enhance operational capability.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for:
Serve as Duty Holder for Ionising Radiation (IRR) and Electrical Safety.
Contractor manager for key electrical assets and equipment across the site.
Develop and implement training and succession plans for the electrical team and other relevant departments.
Own and manage the central engineering electrical budget.
Support and advise on the development of IT systems that enable plant improvement and effective data capture.
Set and maintain site‑wide policies and standards for Electrical and Control Systems equipment.
