Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy invites applications for an Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join a leading Further Education team in Greater Manchester on a 0.6 FTE basis (three days per week).

You will deliver high-quality teaching across Electrical and Electronic Engineering, supporting students to develop practical, theoretical and employability skills while assessing progress and providing constructive feedback in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications and/or significant industry experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience of teaching, training or mentoring learners, ideally within an FE or apprenticeship setting.
  • Strong practical knowledge of electrical installation and engineering principles.
  • The ability to deliver engaging, inclusive and effective learning.
  • A commitment to supporting students and apprentices to achieve their qualifications and progress into employment or further study.
  • A teaching qualification and relevant assessor qualifications would be advantageous.
  • A DBS is also needed for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and assess student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  • Support students to achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further study.
