Job summary

Adler and Allan Group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead in Chichester to head the electrical design and commissioning team, ensuring compliance and smooth on-site execution. The role involves management responsibilities, FAT coordination, and customer-facing site work.

The candidate will travel to customer sites, oversee project scheduling, and drive team development while ensuring adherence to electrical standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC Level in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in an electrical design field.
• Commitment to a career in electrical engineering.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Sound IT skills and the use of Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of ATEX/Explosive Atmospheres standards.
• Use of AutoCAD LT for designs.
• Understanding of PLCs/ VSDs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Electrical Design and Commissioning team including annual appraisals.
• Responsibility for all electrical and commissioning aspects of projects.
• Grow and develop the team to support company growth.
• Review project maps, leading to placement of Purchase Order requests.
• Manage approval process for electrical designs for compliance with standards, contracts and specifications.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Test planning and execution.
• Provide technical support to the commercial team on project tenders.
• Manage project schedule and provide updates to project managers or customers.
