Job summary

Renewable Energy EPC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, interconnection, and delivery of solar PV and battery storage projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, EPC teams, utilities, regulatory agencies, and third‑party engineers to move projects from early design through interconnection and construction.

You will prepare and review single-line diagrams, power flow models, interconnection agreements, and technical design documents, while

Qualifications

• PE licence preferred or EIT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally in renewable energy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Excel, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with utility tariffs and short‑circuit/stability studies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Electrical Engineer – Solar PV and BESS

Full-time | U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Required

A renewable energy EPC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, interconnection, and delivery of solar PV and battery storage projects. This role will work across engineering design, interconnection applications, transmission planning, permitting support, and project coordination.

You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, EPC teams, utilities, regulatory agencies, and third‑party engineers to help move projects from early design through interconnection and construction. The role involves preparing and reviewing single‑line diagrams, power flow models, interconnection agreements, and technical design documents, while helping manage risk, schedule, and compliance.

What we’re looking for

• PE licence preferred or EIT
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally in renewable energy.
• Strong experience with solar PV, BESS, interconnection planning, and transmission studies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with utility and ISO tariffs, steady‑state / short‑circuit / stability studies, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Office‑based role, broad salary range from $140,000 to $200,000 depending on experience, scope for career growth, excellent office, benefits and perks.
