Position – Electrical Engineer
  • Salary – Up to £50,000 per annum

  • Working Hours – Monday, Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm or 7:00am‑4:00pm.

TecRec are currently searching for an experienced Electrical bias building services engineer based on a high‑end static site in St Pauls, this position is to work on a single person site so the engineer will need to take ownership of the Landlord areas on site, our client was founded by four industry professionals brought together by a common goal; to provide their clients with a complete facilities maintenance package, tailored to suit their needs and to deliver that service cost effectively but to the highest engineering standards.

This an excellent opportunity to join an established maintenance provider who invest both time and training into their employees.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks on the Account.
  • This will include the supervision of specialist subcontractors and ensuring all sub‑contractor paperwork is up to date.
  • Also ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures are followed.
  • Ensure QHSE documentation is maintained and readily available using systems e.g. Logbooks, Hazard Reports, training & competency records, eLogbook’s, PPE, toolbox talks.
  • Actively identify/implement innovation across the contract to enhance performance and continue to meet client expectations.
  • Organise and assist in reactive repairs and PPMs to the sites M&E systems (BMS, Fire, Air Conditioning, Generators and LV Electrical Distribution and Switch Gear etc).
  • Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by Contract Support or Contract Management in line with the Service Level Agreements.
  • Prioritising and delegating reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure optimum levels of service delivery are being achieved.
  • Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.

The ideal candidate will have experience as well as qualifications in Electrical Installations (Level 3 Required)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installations.

  • 2391 Testing & Inspection - Desired.
  • Knowledge of other building services
  • Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes. Installation of electrical services.
  • Knowledge of lone working requirements.
