Reporting to the Airport Service Manager, you will be joining our Terminal 4 Maintenance Support Team at Heathrow Airport. We take care of everything related to our installed base; from Hotline support and spare parts to residential service and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on the system
• Perform electrical and mechanical tasks (including motors, bearings and belts) including analytical troubleshooting in planned as well as reactive environments
• Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales
• Able to deal with any control technical faults
• Support on identifying problematic faults and rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis
• Perform maintenance tasks on PLC Systems
• Working as part of a team and also comfortable working on your own

Qualifications

• Hold relevant qualifications in either mechanical or electrical for example City and Guilds/NVQ or an ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Hold some experience from a similar role, preferably within sortation and distribution or a fast moving production environment
• Knowledge of Emergency Stop Systems and Safety Supervision Systems
