Responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritise, schedule, and manage electrical activities, for example planned maintenance programmes, shut‑downs, or emergency repairs.
  • Lead and manage projects as well as a team of Electrical Technicians.
  • Undertake development performance reviews for electrical craftspeople.
  • Ensure that risk assessments, method statements, and permits are created, implemented, and followed.
  • Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for repair and improvement projects.
  • Work directly with engineers in other disciplines and shift managers to ensure effective running of the process.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum HNC).
  • Experience of SCADA/HMI and PLC systems.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of large AC/DC motor controls, inverters, and converters.
  • Hands‑on engineer who will do what it takes to keep the plant running.
  • Experience of leading and developing successful teams.
