Entrust is seeking a Hardware Engineer II to join the Cambridge team in a hybrid role (3 days onsite). You will design high‑quality hardware for Entrust HSM products, partnering with engineers to ensure security and reliability while growing your technical expertise.
You will work across digital/analogue domains, engage in prototyping, testing, and documentation, and contribute to system demos and continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

Hardware Engineering opportunities have arisen in our highly collaborative team. The team is situated in our centrally located Cambridge office. We are looking for hardware engineers early in their career to join our experienced team and work on the design of Entrust HSM products. We need a strong focus on quality, reliability and security to meet the exacting needs of our customers and security certification requirements.
The successful candidate will have some professional experience, with a passion for electronics and hardware design and looking to develop a career in hardware or security engineering. We are particularly keen to find engineers who can learn quickly and take responsibility for areas of a design with mentoring from more experienced members of the team, and then take on more responsibility as technical knowledge and experience is gained.
Hardware Engineering at Entrust comprises the full scope of the physical product platform - High Speed Digital Design, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Thermal Engineering.
We’d expect the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate knowledge in a few of the following areas:
Degree qualified, or equivalent, in a relevant technical subject, e.g. Electronic Engineering.
Masters qualified, or equivalent, in a relevant technical subject, e.g. Electronic Engineering.
