Job summary

A leading facilities management company is seeking a Qualified Electrician to perform maintenance and compliance tasks within a dynamic environment. You will undertake regular and reactive works, monitor contractors, and ensure health and safety standards are met. The role requires experience in facilities management and specific qualifications. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified electrician with relevant certifications.
• Experience in facilities management is ideal.
• Need to have a full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPM, proactive, and reactive works.
• Complete service sheets and update logbooks.
• Provide callout response for the client.
• Monitor contractors and their workmanship.
• Ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with Health & Safety legislation.

About The Role:

Days of Working:Monday to Friday 8am - 16:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.

• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly

• To provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.

• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.

• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.

• To work in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and OCS H&S policy.

Key Hiring Criteria:

• Qualified Electrician to City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition.

• Previous experience working within Facilities Management would be ideal

• Full clean driving licence

• Able to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices.
