Job description

Boden Group is recruiting for an Electrical Bias Engineer based within a hospital in Southampton. The position is available to start ASAP on a temp-to-perm basis.

Pay: £26 per hour CIS, up to £42,000 once permanent.

Job Duties:
  1. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and completing the appropriate paperwork and reports.
  2. Extensive knowledge and experience with electrical fault finding.
  3. Experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, testing, and fault finding on a variety of equipment including plumbing, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, UPS & IPS systems, small power, and lighting.
  4. Liaison and supervision of subcontractors regarding method statements, risk assessments, and safe execution of works.

Additional Requirements: Basic DBS clearance is essential. We can assist in arranging this if successful.

On-Call: On call every 1 in 6 weeks, with £100 per week standby, plus time and a half and double time payments.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional late shifts from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
