Job summary

Arcus FM Limited, North Yorkshire, is recruiting a static M&E Engineer for the Sand Hutton site. You’ll manage Planned Preventative Maintenance, reactive works, and general building services.

Key duties include electrical PPMs, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing, basic plumbing and fabric maintenance, fault finding, and delivering autonomous, high-quality technical services. 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, with enhanced overtime and a potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in a similar M&E role.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of health & safety protocols.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2365 in Electrical Installation.
• F-Gas Certification.
• IOSH Working Safely qualification.
• Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance experience.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Mobile M&E Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and general building services across your allocated site.

Responsibilities include:

• Electrical PPMs
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
• Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance
• Fault finding and general repairs
• Delivering autonomous and high-quality technical services

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, self-sufficient, and confident working across both electrical and mechanical systems.
