Hoare Lea, a forward‑looking engineering consultancy, is looking for an Electrical Engineer to deliver sustainable electrical systems across science, healthcare, education, and commercial projects from the Oxford office.
You will take briefs, produce calculations and drawings, and coordinate with clients, contractors and other consultants. The role includes site visits, testing support and helping with handover documentation, with hybrid working available.
We have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to play an important role in delivering high-quality and sustainable electrical engineering solutions across multiple projects. Our Oxford office was established to provide a local presence on our projects while drawing on the wide-ranging expertise available across the firm. The office is involved in projects across complex sectors, including science and research, healthcare, education, commercial and public-sector developments. As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems from project inception through to completion. You will take responsibility for defined elements of projects, work closely with the wider design team and liaise with clients, contractors and other consultants to deliver coordinated and compliant electrical solutions.
