Qualifications

• Relevant delivery experience in a project setting.
• Able to read and understand electrical documentation including Electrical Schematic diagrams, SLDs, and load schedules.
• Aware of typical Electrical infrastructure.
• Experience of working to UK standards and regulations.
• HNC qualified as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Engineering technical team to ensure correct specifications and quantities of materials.
• Manage TQs, clarifications, Change requests, document review & approval.
• Provide regular reporting on package progress.
• Raise risks etc. for action where necessary.

Job Purpose:

The P.E will support the Electrical Project team by working closely with internal and external stakeholders to progress ongoing package delivery as well as taking ownership of new small packages of work from procurement though to delivery.

Co-ordination of design and delivery schedules.

Liaising with manufacturers to progress detailed design and equipment delivery.

Liaising with subcontractors in order to understand challenges and prepare for equipment delivery and installation. Producing project documentation such as BOQ, Schedule of Activities, RFQ document preparation and design packs.

Working with construction team to co-ordinate delivery works.

The Electrical Project Engineer will report to the Electrical Package Leads and be based in the Greater Manchester office.

Key Activities:

The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:

• Liaise with Engineering technical team

• to ensure information transfer is according to schedule
• manage TQs, clarifications, Change requests, document review & approval
• manage QAQC
• Liaise with Project Team

• Manage delivery per Project requirements

Key skills and experience:

Essential:

• Relevant delivery experience in a project setting
• Able to read and understand electrical documentation including, Electrical Schematic diagrams, SLD’s and load schedules
• Aware of typical Electrical infrastructure.
• Experience of working to UK standards and regulations
• HNC qualified as a minimum

Desirable:

• Experience working in dispersed international teams
• UK site construction experience
