Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Henham is seeking a qualified Electrician to perform proactive and reactive maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, monitoring contractors, and maintaining client equipment. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and a clean driving license. Competitive working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within Facilities Management would be ideal.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks.
• Provide a callout response for the client.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client.
• Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance.
• Work in a safe manner, complying with current Health & Safety legislation.

Ability to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices

Job description

Working Days: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30.

Key Responsibilities

• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly.
• To provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• To work in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and OCS H&S policy.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Qualified Electrician to City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition.
• Previous experience working within Facilities Management would be ideal.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Able to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices.
