Job Description

Plant Pharma is partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical client seeking to hire a Maintenance Building Services Technician at their Hatfield site.

This role involves delivering high standards of mechanical and electrical services within the estates engineering team. You will plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment in collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine planned preventative maintenance in both critical and non-critical environments.
  2. Close remedial and service requests efficiently.
  3. Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards.
  4. Monitor Building Management System (BMS) for equipment operation and respond to alarms.
  5. Utilize engineering experience in regulated environments.
  6. Maintain good awareness of Health and Safety protocols.
  7. Be multi-skilled in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
  8. Experience with steam boilers, including blowdowns and water treatment.
  9. Manage domestic and low-temperature hot water systems.

Key Requirements:

  1. Electrical engineering qualification (e.g., BS7671 & C&G 2391) or equivalent.
  2. Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
  3. Excellent verbal and written English skills.
