Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Hatfield is hiring a qualified Electrician. The role includes conducting PPM work, responding to client callouts, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience in Facilities Management. A clean driving license and basic IT skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Electrician with City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3.
  • Experience in Facilities Management is preferred.
  • Full clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct PPM and reactive works issued through the helpdesk.
  • Complete service sheets and update compliance logbooks.
  • Provide callout response for the client.
  • Monitoring contractors and ensuring standards are met.
  • Evaluate performance of servicing and maintenance.
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation.

About The Role:

Working Days: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30

Key Responsibilities:
  • To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
  • To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly.
  • To provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
  • To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
  • To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
  • To work in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and OCS H&S policy.
Key Hiring Criteria:
  • Qualified Electrician to City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition.
  • Previous experience working within Facilities Management would be ideal.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Able to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices.
