Job summary

BSW Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain plant equipment and improve uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You’ll perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement in a hands-on role.

The position involves working with PLCs, drives, motors, sensors and control panels, with a focus on reliability and safety. 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri with 1 in 4 Saturdays, on-site at Ellesmere Port.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical apprenticeship with hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and fault-find on complex equipment.
• Proactive, safety-focused and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve plant equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Complete PPM tasks and maintain accurate records
