Overview

Falcon Green is working with an award-winning, innovative contractor known for delivering complex, large-scale industrial projects across mainland Europe. They are looking for an ambitious and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on a high-spec Data Centre project. This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically strong, proactive, and keen to build a long-term career in the Data Centre space. You will be joining a supportive team and working with a top-tier client that values training and internal progression. Responsibilities
  • Maintaining clear and accurate reporting to track progress and keep the project team aligned with key deadlines.
  • Review Design/IFC specifications and drawings to understand the full scope of works, lead the coordination process to develop accurate installation drawings, and work with BIM personnel to ensure compliance and meet schedule requirements.
  • Support on-site quality oversight, ensuring all works meet the required technical and regulatory standards.
  • Review subcontractor and supplier tenders to ensure they meet the project\'s technical and design requirements.
  • Ensure engineering activities, including procurement, stay on track with the project timeline.
  • Ensure all technical submittals are properly prepared, submitted, and approved in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure all installations follow project specifications and the QA plan.
  • Coordinate subcontractor efforts to ensure timely progress and clear communication. Keep records of weekly meetings.
  • Encourage embracing new practices that drive improvements in project scheduling and delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Project Quantity Surveyor to compile and prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements
  • You will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years\' experience in the Electrical contracting industry with a recognised company.
  • You will have strong organizational abilities and expertise in project planning.
  • You will have strong skills in negotiation, finding solutions, and making good decisions.
  • You will have experience in using Navisworks and engineering-related database systems.
  • You will be comfortable working with Project/Primavera software and familiar with CAD/BIM workflows.
