Electrical Engineer needed in Cardiff The rate is £15.38ph PAYE This is a temporary role The reference number is: 461777 The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in electrical maintenance and repair, ensuring all prison facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

They will carry out planned and reactive works across a range of systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and emergency equipment, while adhering to strict health and safety standards.

Working collaboratively with estates and facilities teams, they will respond effectively to urgent faults, support security-critical infrastructure, and contribute to the smooth running of the prison environment through reliable, professional service delivery.
