Electrical Engineer - Building Services Consultancy (Bromley)

I'm working with a long-established and independent building services consultancy based in Bromley. They specialise in the full design and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public-health systems across a broad and varied project portfolio. Their work spans commercial offices, residential developments, education, healthcare, laboratories, hospitality, industrial facilities and more - covering both new-build and refurbishment schemes.

They're known for delivering high-quality, energy-efficient building services design, with a strong focus on low-carbon and sustainable engineering solutions. Due to steady project growth, they are now looking to appoint an Electrical Engineer to join their team.

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Design and develop electrical building services systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, data/communication systems, standby generation/UPS and associated controls.
• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to produce coordinated, well-integrated designs.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, reports and specifications using industry-standard design and BIM/CAD tools.
• Support sustainable and low-carbon design strategies across all projects.
• Attend project meetings and, where required, carry out site visits and inspections.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment within a consultancy known for quality and technical excellence.
