Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
  • Install, maintain, and supervise third-party contractors on plant and equipment.
  • Attend site callouts for breakdowns and urgent issues.
  • Produce Site-Specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Provide accurate quotations for remedial works.
  • Maintain calibrated electrical testing equipment.
  • Monitor adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Contracts Manager.
  • Support team members and provide cover for sites as required.
  • Carry out maintenance on lighting, heating, and control systems.
  • Assist with out-of-hours commitments.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships.
Job description
Overview

To support the delivery of the Company's performance contract by ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation, maintenance, and installation of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment across client sites in the South Mobile Region. This includes both proactive and reactive maintenance, ensuring high levels of customer service, health & safety compliance, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across mobile contracts in the South region.
  • Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
  • Install, maintain, and supervise third-party contractors on new or existing plant and equipment.
  • Attend site callouts for breakdowns and urgent issues, including participation in the on-call rota.
  • Produce Site-Specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Annual Electrical Maintenance Reports.
  • Provide accurate quotations for remedial works and ensure timely submission of Test & Inspection Certification.
  • Maintain calibrated electrical testing equipment to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to site-specific health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Contracts Manager regarding plant performance, safety issues, and client-related matters.
  • Support other team members and provide cover for static and mobile sites as required.
  • Carry out M&E maintenance on a variety of systems, including lighting, emergency systems, heating, and control systems.
  • Assist with black building testing and other out-of-hours commitments.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships and contribute to contract growth
