Job summary

The Clancy Group in Stirling is seeking an Electrical Design Manager to lead high-impact projects, drive design delivery, and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on grid-supply initiatives.

The ideal candidate has senior electrical experience, a relevant degree, and strong project-management skills, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance in a leading UK utility infrastructure business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior electrical engineering role or on substation projects.
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent project management and team leadership abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving and stakeholder liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Develop and implement electrical strategies for Grid Supply Projects (GSP).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration and success.
• Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
