Job summary

Captiv8 Resources is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to produce high quality electrical telecommunications designs for multiple projects across clients.

The role offers hybrid or remote working and an immediate start, with a focus on delivering efficient design solutions and maintaining documentation. You will collaborate with project managers and other designers to meet deadlines and uphold safety and client standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification is required.
• Experience in electrical design.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong maths and numerical skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Compile Electrical designs and reports using dedicated software to provide safe upgrade design path in line with client project specific standards/specifications.
• Interpret solutions into outline designs for review and insertion into overall detailed design drawing packs.
• Review drawings for quality in design and safety in line with company and client requirements and processes.
• Liaise with project managers to ensure delivery requirements are achieved to determined deadlines agreed with clients
• Help to maintain library of Client documentation
• Support other Electrical Designers and the Team in the delivery of high quality, accurate project documentation
• Keep all internal and client systems up to date ensuring all work & milestone details are captured
• Work to strict deadlines, able to manage pressure and own work load

Purpose of the Role

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing high quality technical electrical telecommunications designs for multiple projects, servicing various clients.

Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Compile Electrical designs and reports using dedicated software to provide safe upgrade design path in line with requirements of the client project specific standards/specifications.
