Job summary

Vickerstock, in partnership with a leading MEP contractor, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer based in Dundalk to support electrical design for large-scale MEP projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

You will join an experienced design team to develop electrical designs from initial design through manufacture and installation, coordinating with BIM and other teams for project success.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in electrical design for building services (MEP).
• Strong understanding of electrical building services and design principles.
• Experience producing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs and technical solutions for MEP projects.
• Produce and review electrical drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and BIM teams for coordinated designs.
• Support projects through design, manufacturing and installation stages.
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve technical queries.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
