Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (Control Systems) in Winsford to join an employee-owned manufacturer delivering bespoke equipment to global industries.

You will design electrical schematics with SolidWorks Electrical, select components, create BOMs, and order materials to meet stock and project needs. Mon-Thu 8:25–4:55, Fri 8:25–14:55.

Candidates with experience in machinery manufacturing, automation or control panels preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical.
• Experience with PLC-based systems in machinery manufacturing, automation, or control panels.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical schematics using SolidWorks Electrical.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials.
• Select and specify electrical components for bespoke projects.
• Order materials based on stock and requirements.
• Role hours: Mon-Thu 8:25–16:55, Fri 8:25–14:55.
