Job summary

DCS Recruitment is supporting an organisation in Northwest London with a diverse property estate to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer. The role covers electrical design, project delivery, compliance and contractor management from feasibility through to completion.

Focused on energy efficiency and low-carbon electrical solutions, the position also involves technical and commercial oversight, working with internal teams, consultants and contractors to deliver compliant, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years’ Electrical Engineering experience in the UK.
• Strong CAD/design skills and ability to produce and interpret technical documentation.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations 2015 and the Building Safety Act 2022.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical engineering legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems and engineering solutions across a varied property estate.
• Produce and manage CAD drawings, specifications, reports and schedules of works.
• Carry out feasibility studies, condition surveys and defect investigations.
• Oversee electrical projects from concept through to completion.
• Manage and monitor contractors, including site inspections and contract administration.
• Provide technical oversight of projects, including budget and cost control.
• Ensure electrical works meet relevant legislation, standards and compliance requirements.
• Support the delivery of energy efficiency and low-carbon initiatives.
• Work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
