Job summary

Billy Associates LTD is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join our Harrow-based team. You will deliver coordinated electrical designs across multiple project types while upholding high technical standards.

Responsibilities include site surveys, collaboration in technical meetings, and performing electrical calculations using tools like Amtech or Pro-Design. You will guide trainees and engineers, ensuring quality output across assignments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in producing detailed design specifications for building services.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong understanding of British Standards and regulations.
• Able to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines with high technical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, testing and reporting on existing electrical installations.
• Attend and contribute to technical meetings with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Carry out engineering calculations using Amtech, Pro–Design or similar.
• Prepare tender documentation, specifications and drawings.
• Support and oversee junior team members across projects.
