Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 Base Salary DOE + Contributory Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Group Life Assurance (5x Salary) + Income Protection + Training and Development + Private Medical Insurance

Working hours: 9/10 Day Working Per Fortnight - Average 37 Hour Working Week

Electrical Design Engineer Role

• Using AutoCAD for electrical design of standard and special purpose machinery – includes working with lead plate feeders and stackers, casting machines, assembly machines, robot loading etc.
• Electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, BOMs and termination lists
• Risk assessments
• Selection of electrical components
• Coordinate with other engineering teams – mechanical, software etc.
