Permanent | Full Time | Saltash, Cornwall | UK & International Travel
Location: You should live within daily commuting distance of our Saltash facility.
As an Electrical Design Engineer at Composite Integration, you’ll be instrumental in the electrical design and development of specialist machinery and equipment used in closed mould composite manufacturing processes. The role will also provide technical assistance to other projects and clients globally.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, suppliers and clients worldwide, contributing to projects that range from luxury marine components to aerospace innovation. No two days are the same; one moment you’ll be turning concepts into detailed electrical designs, the next you could be supporting a client on the factory floor or helping refine a cutting-edge process.
This is a practical engineering role as well as a design position. You’ll work closely with the equipment you design, supporting its build, testing and commissioning both at our Saltash facility and at customer sites.
This is a role where your ideas matter, your skills grow and your work has a tangible impact on the future of composite technology.
We’re looking for a motivated Electrical Design Engineer who’s excited by solving problems, pushing boundaries and delivering high-quality work. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re curious, practical and able to balance creative thinking with technical precision.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who can combine electrical design capability with a practical understanding of how industrial machinery is built, controlled, tested and commissioned.
Previous composites experience is not essential. We’ll teach you our technology and processes; what we’re looking for is strong electrical engineering capability and practical experience that can be applied to our equipment.
We’re looking for someone who:
Our culture is built around a simple belief: There’s Always a Better Way.
Our values guide how we work:
Be Approachable – We collaborate openly, support one another and share knowledge.
Ask Questions – Curiosity drives innovation and continuous improvement.
Own It – We take responsibility, follow through on commitments and deliver results.
We’re also committed to sustainability and creating a workplace where every individual feels respected, supported and able to thrive.
