Job summary

A leading company, Allscreens Nationwide Ltd, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for building projects. You will create detailed schematics and collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration while conducting site visits to verify design compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience, proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit, and a solid understanding of electrical codes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant electrical experience.
  • Experience in electrical design within building services.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Creating detailed electrical designs and schematics.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Utilising industry-standard software to produce accurate and efficient designs.

  • Typically taking on 3 to 5 projects a year, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Project types include: care homes, hotels, warehouses, and refurbishments.

Your new role
