The ideal candidate will design advanced automation solutions, ensuring safety compliance across all projects. Successful candidates will possess a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and experience with AutoCAD Electrical. This full-time on-site role offers a salary between £35,000 - £47,000.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with UL/NFPA standards and experience designing safety circuits.

Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer

Looking for a proven Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer with a strong grasp of all aspects of electrical and electronic design. You’ll collaborate with other specialists on equipment design and integration, working to tight deadlines in a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design of electrical/electronic control and interface systems
  • Electrical assembly and enclosure design using Solid Edge
  • Wiring harness and AC/DC power distribution circuit design
  • Analogue, digital, and RF circuit design
  • Fault finding and problem solving
  • Design of critical safety circuits in compliance with EN13849
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical/electronic design
  • Strong knowledge of machinery safety regulations and EU harmonized standards (EN60204, EN13849)
  • Familiarity with UL/NFPA standards
  • Experience designing safety circuits
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent
  • 3D CAD experience (preferred)
