Electrical Design Engineer – Solihull

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

Holidays: 22 days + bank holidays

The Role

As an Electrical Design Engineer you will design and develop electrical control panels and automation systems for industrial applications. This technical position requires precision, compliance with UK and international standards, and close collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels, producing detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and layouts using CAD software.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support procurement and production.
• Apply Design for Manufacture principles to improve assembly efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical queries.
• Provide occasional support during installation and commissioning phases.

Requirements
