I’m on the hunt for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join the team of a fast-growing critical power solutions company.

About the role:

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be the technical force behind the solutions, creating electrical designs that meet the highest standards in critical power applications. You’ll work closely with project teams to ensure systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time – making a direct impact on the performance of essential infrastructure across the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing full electrical systems – from control panels to generator controllers and UPS systems
• Creating CAD drawings and schematics
• Supporting both LV and HV applications
• Collaborating across departments to execute successful projects

You:

• ONC/HNC (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience in electrical system design – ideally including switchgear and control panels
• Confident CAD user with excellent IT skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards
• A can-do attitude, proactive mindset, and a genuine passion for quality and detail
• PLC programming knowledge and project estimating experience is advantageous
