Job summary

Kelvion is seeking an Electronics and Controls Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for new products. You will create schematics and architectures, select components, and ensure compliance with CE, UL, and safety standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams to drive successful launches and continuous product improvements. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong PLC/AutoCAD Electrical knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and controls designs for new product development projects, ensuring alignment with specifications, quality, timelines and costs.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, control architectures, BOMs, and documentation per CE/UL/machinery safety and internal standards.
• Specify, select, and test electrical and electromechanical components for new and existing products.
• Review technical documentation, requirements, and specs, contributing expertise throughout development.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, PLM/NPI, and Product Management to support launches and continuous improvements.
• Provide technical support and training on current and new products and innovations.
• Help build electrical and controls expertise within the global Technology organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and controls designs for new product development projects, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, quality standards, project timelines, and cost targets.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, control architectures, bills of materials, and technical documentation in accordance with CE, UL, machinery safety, and internal company standards.
• Specify, select, and test electrical and electromechanical components for new and existing products.
• Review technical documentation, requirements, and specifications, contributing your expertise throughout the product development process.
• Collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Supply Chain, PLM/NPI, and Product Management to support successful product launches and continuous improvements.
• Provide technical support and training on current and newly developed products and innovations.
• Help build and strengthen electrical and controls expertise within the global Technology organization.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in electrical and controls engineering, ideally within a product development environment.
• Good knowledge of electrical CAD systems, particularly AutoCAD Electrical. PLC programming skills would be an advantage.
• Understanding of digitalization, IoT, and their application in technical products.
• Experience with heat exchanger or HVAC products is desirable.
• Project management experience would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, methodical approach and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset and the ability to develop practical, innovative solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Well-organized and comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and working methods.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel when required.
