Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced engineering professional to provide technical support across contracting, commissioning and facilities services. You will review projects for compliance, prepare detailed reports, and present outcomes to clients and stakeholders.

You will apply your design experience and knowledge of fire safety and electrical systems to ensure technical accuracy, while mentoring junior colleagues and supporting the project lifecycle from design to aftercare.

Formación

• Experience in a design environment (site construction).
• IT literate with proficiency in listed design tools and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of BS5839 and BS5266.
• Basic understanding of HV equipment, transformers, and LV switchgear.
• Capable of producing cable calculations, SLDs, drawings, specs, datasheets, BoMs, and containment sizing.
• CompEx Ex12 certification and ATEX/DSEAR regulations knowledge (preferred).
• Willing to obtain SC security clearance (costs covered by the company).

• Provide technical support to the contracting, commissioning, and facilities services functions, offering practical solutions, troubleshooting assistance, and expert engineering advice.
• Review projects to ensure compliance, completeness, and quality standards are met; prepare detailed reports outlining key findings and recommendations.
• Attend client and consultant meetings, present review outcomes effectively, and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and learning within a safe and collaborative environment.
• Apply engineering expertise to review and cross reference project specifications, drawings, and schedules, identifying discrepancies and assessing technical risks.

• Experience in a design environment (site construction)
• IT literate, with proficiency in: Trimble ProDesign/Amtech (preferred), Relux/DiaLux, AutoCAD 2D, Revit, Navisworks (preferred), and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of BS5839 (Fire Alarm Systems) and BS5266 (Emergency Lighting)
• Basic understanding of HV equipment , transformers , and LV switchgear assemblies
• Capable of producing cable calculations, SLDs, block and GA drawings, specifications, datasheets, registers, cable schedules, BoMs, and containment sizing
• CompEx Ex12 certification and knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR regulations (preferred)
• Successful candidate Must be willing and eligible to obtain SC security clearance (costs covered by the company)
