Overview

Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 40,000 – 60,000

Electrical Design Engineer required for an industry leading manufacturer of electrical systems for industries including Defence, Aerospace & Marine.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical design of systems with the use of E–Plan and Solidworks Electrical
• Producing design documentation including test plans and material selection
• Overseeing technical compliance of design to customer specification and approval
• Engaging with the mechanical design teams on projects

Qualifications

• Prior experience with electrical design software's such as E–Plan or Solidworks Electrical
• Degree qualified within electrical engineering / automation is desirable
• 3+ years of experience with control panel and LV power distribution design
• Experience with variable speed drives, control panels and PLC systems
• Ability to write test plans for testing and automation

Salary & Benefits
