Job summary

Experience with electrical design and engineering software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar tools.
Ability to read and produce electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, control systems, and equipment.
Prepare electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Perform electrical calculations, testing, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
Review designs to ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Select electrical components, equipment, and materials.
Support installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and project engineering teams.
Identify technical issues and develop effective engineering solutions.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders as required.
Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and technical deliverables.
Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation.
