Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer for a mainly office-based role in Torquay. You will develop electrical designs, produce schematics and documentation, and advance PLC control systems, primarily with Siemens hardware.

With 5+ years of relevant engineering experience and a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, you will contribute to a brand-new medical device project heading to global production, supported by company-funded Siemens training and

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Around 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience producing electrical designs and technical documentation.
• Some exposure to PLC/control systems.
• Experience selecting electrical/instrumentation components.

Responsibilities

• Take existing concepts and develop them into fully engineered solutions.
• Select and specify electrical/control components including sensors, pumps, valves and instrumentation.
• Produce electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Develop and implement PLC control systems, predominantly using Siemens
• Develop electrical and control system designs for industrial equipment.
