The Role

As an Electrical Site Construction Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supervising electrical installation works (LV / HV) on-site, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure delivery is “right first time.”

• Supervise and coordinate LV / HV electrical installation works.
• Oversee installation of switchgear, transformers, earthing, ducting, protection systems, and wiring.
• Interpret and deliver works to electrical drawings and DNO specifications (e.g., G81).
• Manage and inspect above and below-ground installations.
• Support electrical testing, commissioning, and quality checks.
• Review RAMS and subcontractor documentation, ensuring compliance with scope of works.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA Section 50, NJUG guidelines, CDM regulations, HSG47, and health & safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in LV / HV electrical installations (HV essential).
• Strong background with switchgear, transformers, substations, and generators.
• Knowledge of DNO standards, G81 specifications, and industry best practices.
• Experience supervising subcontractors on technical electrical site works.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation (CDM, HSG47, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with works up to kV (preferred).
• Familiarity with DNO authorisations and SAP processes (desirable).
